The North German Confederation issued their own stamps between 1868 and 1872.
In 1870 Bavaria, Wurttemberg, & Baden joined to form the German Empire [Deutsches Reich].
In 1872, Stamps of the North German Confederation were replaced by those of the German Empire. |
