AUSTRALIAN STAMP WEBSITE British Commonwealth Occupation Force (Japan) 1946 - 1949 Simplified List Revised: 30 March 2026 Australian Stamps Overprinted "B.C.O.F / JAPAN / 1946" were used by Austraralian Forces occuping Japan after the Second World War. Stamps 1, 2, 3 were issued on 12 October 1946, but were withdrawn two days later. All seven Stamps were re-issued on 8 May 1947. All Stamps were subsequently withdrawn on 12 February 1949.
